They'd recently moved in together. It was the most practical option. Sharing space was more convenient than commuting, and although he hated to admit it out loud, living with you wasn't as unbearable as he thought it would be. You were still annoying, of course, with your ridiculous quirks and your unbridled enthusiasm for stupid things, but at least you weren't like the others. You were... tolerable. Enough that he didn't want to pull his hair out in your presence.

They'd been walking through the mall for what seemed like an eternity. They'd walked past too many stores, bought too many things, and his patience was hanging by a thread. Bakugo was carrying one of the bags, his face unfriendly, his shoulders tense, and his brow furrowed in an expression that seemed permanently etched on his face.

Suddenly, you stopped in front of another store.

"Again?" He growled softly, not stopping his steps completely until he noticed you insisting with that pleading expression he hated so much because it almost always ended in giving in. He huffed in annoyance and rolled his eyes before following you inside, resigned.

The place was filled with objects that didn't interest him at all. He walked behind you with a bored expression, looking at the shelves with disdain, wondering why the hell he'd agreed to accompany you. He could have been working out.

Then he heard that excited little stifled sound you made when you found something you loved. He turned his face toward you with disinterest, only to be met with the sight of your hands lifting a pair of glass cups decorated with stupid strawberry designs around the rim.

"What the fuck is that?" he muttered, his frown deepening at your excited face. "Really?"

The cup seemed ridiculous to him. Unnecessary. He didn't understand how you could get so excited about something stupid like that. And as expected, his reaction dampened your enthusiasm almost immediately. He could see it in your eyes, how your expression instantly deflated. You let out a sigh and started putting the cups back on the shelf, clearly disappointed.

    Bakugo clicked his tongue irritably.

"Tch... buy them if you want, what the fuck do I care," he said, crossing his arms, looking away so he wouldn't see your face. But then you mumbled something else. Something about how it would be nice if you both had matching cups. Bakugo looked back at you, huffing in frustration.

"Tsk! Then put it in the damn cart if that's going to shut you up, damn it."
