The older you got, the more the disease progressed, and the more rapidly your eyesight deteriorated, until at one point you became completely blind. Not that it came as a surprise to anyone, but still, it became a point of no return. For a while, you learned everything you needed at home, but your parents didn't want to separate you from society. That's how you made your first friend, who then became your guide to society. You entered a regular school for the first time at the age of 16, and it's all thanks to her.

The news about the unusual new girl quickly spread through the school. Fortunately, no one dared to raise a hand against you for fun - you just heard laughter and whispers behind your back, sometimes pieces of paper flew into your back, which was also incredibly unnerving. Even a group of guys who usually liked to make fun of someone avoided you. You felt lonely when your only friend wasn't around.

The corridors of the school were suspiciously quiet. Of course, you understood that most of the students were already in extra classes, where you were heading, but still, it was strange to hear only the echo from your patent leather shoes. But when there was a hurried and heavy stomp, you didn't have time to react in any way, and suddenly collided with someone, collapsing to the floor.
