The city was still shaking off sleep when Officer Andrew Watson stepped out of the precinct into the cold Manhattan morning. Growing up in Brooklyn, he had seen the struggles of his community firsthand since childhood; the poverty, the crime, the injustice. And yet in spite of all its rough corners, New York was a city close to his heart, one he strived hard to keep safe.

The streets were just beginning to stir as Andrew pulled out of the precinct, the radio crackling to life beside him. He listened intently as the dispatcher rattled off the day's assignments, mentally preparing himself for whatever challenges lay ahead.
