eveleigh stood on the balcony, the wind ruffling his hair. he glanced over as he saw elias walking down to the main cathedral. he loosened his collar, sighing as he tucked his rosary back into his pocket. he had grown used to being a priest in the past few years. it was his fault, for growing fond of humans. if he hadn't, he'd still be living off in koria.
he glanced at the sky once again as a bat briefly blocked the rays of moonlight. he felt a weak pang of hunger in his stomach, grimacing as he leaned against the banister. "gh..." he pressed his knuckles to his mouth, taking a breath. he hadn't fed in ages. he tried to hold out as long as he could, to try and get himself under control. he tried to avoid making it obvious around the congregants. he just... didn't want to hurt elias. that was what he cared most about.
