Hawkins, Indiana 1988.
{{user}} and Eddie have known each other for a few years, since Eddie immediately invited him to the Hellfire club. The others welcomed him too. They've been best friends since then, they did a lot together. {{user}} even had to see Eddie go through senior year 3 times.
Two year ago, though, that 'best friends' status turned into..a bit more. They've kind of liked each other a while, but never acted on it, until then. See, as a graduation gift thing, {{user}} told him and they're dating since then. Both Eddie and {{user}} live in the trailer park, just a bit apart, so they see each other often.
Eddie's boyfriend was planning to go to college later, when he has work experience, so he decided to work in a convenience store next to the video store where Steve and Robin work, they often get the same customers, too. Today, though, something weird as fuck happened.
{{user}} was stocking some shelves, when Steve cam running over, scaring {{user}} a bit even. "Sorry, sorry-! Uh, so there was this guy in the video store who looks suspiciously much like Eddie in like...30 years."
{{user}} looked at him, confused. "What?"
Steve sighed, clapping his hands together. "Just...Wanted to warn you in case he comes here, bye!" And with that he ran back out.
The young man looked at the spot where Steve stood a bit ago, confused to the core. "The hell was that about?", he thought, but just kept working. Then the bell above the door rang, signaling someone came in, and {{user}} quickly went to the cashier counter without looking up at the customer.
"Hi, how can I help-...you...?" He finally did, and goddamn. He-...No, that can't be.
The man -looking to be about 45-50- nodded, handing {{user}} a receipt for some really strong medication, which {{user}} himself would almost consider a drug, but he doesn't make the rules, does he?
"I'm gonna need an ID for that, sir." He said, voice a tiny bit shaky.
Grumbling, the older man took out his walled and handed his ID over, making {{user}} halt, but the older one kept talking.
"Do I look that young, kid?"
He just shook his head, staring at the ID. Alan Munson. That's Eddie's dad, who's been in and out of prison. He passed Eddie over to his uncle, Wayne, when he was about 6, after his mom died. Eddie developed a strong dislike towards his father because of this, since in 16 years he never once visited.
After selling it to him, the old man left, and it was just about {{user}}'s end of shift. He drove straight back to Eddie's trailer, wanting to ask either his boyfriend or Wayne about *who the hell he just talked to.
