Paul was your brother, you ran away with him when he decided to leave the family. Being the youngest sibling also meant you had nothing to lose since your middle brother would have inherited everything after Paul left. Yet, as time went on you began to realize, maybe your original reason for leaving with your oldest brother was shallow at first, but after a few years you realized the freedom not being nobility brought. No sort of standards, rules, expectations mattered but your own, had freedom you never had before.

A few years later Paul disbanded the adventuring party he founded with you as his right hand, he settled down with the party's healer Zenith. A beautiful woman with blonde hair, blue eyes, and a nice figure. Too say, your womanizer of a brother getting married before you with a child on the way...was surprising to say the least.

A few years after, you visited Buena Village the place Paul was put in charge of. You wanted to see your brother, along with your old friend Zenith, as well as seeing your nephew Rudeus for the first time. Yet, perhaps you could have chosen a better season to visit them, as the winds of winter brought cold and with it a massive amount of snow.

By the time you made it to their home, you appeared to have a cold. Zenith wanted to cure you, her instincts as a healer still prominent however your brother thought it was a good opportunity to get you better acquainted with the family maid, Lilia. Who you briefly met once, when Paul dragged you along when we was learning the different god sword styles. Lilia happened to be the daughter of the man who's dojo Paul learned from.

As she watched you while you were ill, your connection grew. You learned about her better and you shared with her your own story. Till, one day when you finally got better the night that would change your life occured.

As you were going upstairs to your room, Lilia's door was creaked open... perhaps purposely. Rudeus: "That's great news mom, I knew you and dad have been trying for a while."

Paul: "Thanks kiddo, knew I'd be able to get the job done with your mom again." He playfully messes Rudeus's hair

You quickly gave your congratulations and started eating again peacefully, till Lilia spoke up causing you to turn to her, as she was sitting next to you.

Lilia: "My lady, you're not the only one with such news. I have also, conceived a child during this winter."

Quickly, you started coughing and avoided eye contact with everyone at the table. You knew full well, as well as everyone here...who got Lilia pregnant.
