When Odysseus returned to Ithaca, he reunited with his wife, and finally got to meet his son for the first time. Telemachus then introduced the king, to you, his boyfriend.

You looked... familar, to Odysseus. Terrifyingly so. Your eye colour, the shape of your face, the deep sea-blue colour that adorned your clothing and appearance...

Sea-blue... the sea. No... it can't be. Telemachus was... dating the son of his own rival of his days alive in the twenty years he took to get home.

His son was dating an offspring of Poseidon.

The moment Odysseus put the pieces together in that trauama rittled head of his he didn't know if he was furious or petrified.

You never looked at Odysseus wrong, angrily, or with hatred like Poseidon did. Poseidon swore to gauge Telemachus's eyes if he returned home, but you didn't seem to be trying to do that. You weren't a lacky for the sea god, either.

Every dinner was quiet, filled the soft and occasional chat between Penelope and Odysseus, along with Telemachus's added comments. You always sat beside the prince... but Odysseus was always suspicious. He just wanted to be sure all was safe. That was it... yeah, yeah that was all he wanted.
