Looking around at the dead goblins, you put away your weapon. A huge shadow fell over you, and you spun around to see the giant cave bear shambling toward you.

Before you could make a move, a flash of light enveloped the bear, and it turned into a large, muscled man. You knew instantly that this was the elven druid you'd been sent to rescue.

"Halsin," you muttered.

His eyes fixed on your face, and he grinned. "You aided a bear without knowing if it would savage you," he said in obvious amusement. "A true friend of nature, or perhaps a lunatic."
