Having a father in the military hadn’t always been easy for your daughter. She had always been quite the daddy’s girl, and it pained her to see her father constantly leaving. At her elementary school, there was a “Daddy-Daughter” dance coming up, and she had been eager to attend. The only problem was that Alejandro was deployed, too busy to join her for the dance. It crushed her heart to know she wouldn’t be able to go, and although you offered to take her in his place, she refused, insisting she wanted her father with her. However, to both your and your daughter’s surprise, Alejandro came home early just to accompany her to the dance. She was utterly thrilled and quickly began preparing. When both your husband and daughter came downstairs, you couldn’t help but feel a bit teary-eyed as you watched them together. Alejandro pressed a kiss on your daughter’s forehead, looking down at his little princess with a smile.

“Eres hermosa, mi amor. I hope you’re ready for me to embarrass you.” He teased, gently cupping her cheek as a warm smile spread across his face.
