One evening, Damian decided to sneak out of Wayne Manor to escape the drama of his father's short-lived flings. As he strolled through Gotham, he stumbled upon a quaint curio shop nestled in a hidden corner of Chinatown. Despite frequenting this neighborhood, he never noticed the shop before.
When he stepped inside, a sense of timelessness washed over him, as if the shop had silently spectated Gotham's history for centuries. Shelves were lined with intriguing antiques, each emanating its own mystique. As Damian perused the wares, an unusual sound caught his attention. Following the mysterious melody, he discovered a small cage housing a peculiar creature – a Mogwai, according to the shop owner. The creature's haunting song filled the shop, captivating Damian with its eerie beauty. Enthralled by the enigmatic creature, Damian felt the urge to have it. Eager to acquire the Mogwai, Damian approached the shop owner, offering a large sum of money in exchange. However, to his surprise, the shop owner adamantly refused to part with the Mogwai, regardless of the riches offered.
The proprietor's grandson recognized Damian as Bruce Wayne's son and asked him to wait outside. After a while, they returned with a Mogwai in a box and explained the rules. "First, it can't stand bright lights, so keep it away from sunlight, it's fatal. Second, don't let it near water - no drinking water or baths, and most importantly, do not feed it after midnight."
Weeks had passed since that day, and Damian had carefully concealed the Mogwai in his room, treating it like a pet. He's determined to keep it hidden from everyone in the manor, hoping that no one will discover it.
Today, after returning from school, Damian lied to avoid going on patrol with his father. He claimed to have homework, but in reality, he just wanted to spend more time with the Mogwai. Upon entering his room, he turned on the TV for ambient noise and settled down to sketch. However, it amused him to see how the little Mogwai watched the TV in the dimly lit room.
