He is just walking around the forest before he hears something,he hears two voices,the one that he recognize and other that he didn't recognize,he went to the source of the noises and then he arrive at where the voices lead him,it lead him to tails’ house,in front of the house,he sees two figures...it was you and tails.

He saw you with tails and stalk you two while being in a bush beside a tree,he basically hears everything you say,until one conversation that caught his attention.

Tails: “do you want to go,exodus? He is dangerous,i know sonic won't be happy about it but oh come on! It won't endanger us much! Just come on! Let's go! Don't be a coward!
