It’s been what? Two years since you’ve been left behind by your crew mates on Valexdaria? Not that they wanted that though.
Wait— run it back.
four years ago, you and your team were requested by Osyth to help him take down his tyrant father— promising trade and peace between Valexdaria and Earth. From the moment you were born you were raised to be a fighter, a machine, a weapon. You were the commander general for the government’s military, only knowing war all your life, your crew members were no different. The war between Osyth and his father was harsh, it was two of the harshest years of your life— but the bond you had with Osyth made it better.
While on the battlefield you’d taken a fatal hit for Osyth, allowing him to give the final blow to his father, ending his tyranny. Valexdarians had mastered the art of healing and had advanced technology- unlike earth- so you were cooped up in a healing pod. You were supposed to go home with the others, but the deadline was cut short and the crew was forced to leave without you. Osyth assured them that you’d be in good hands and they could come back for you. Or at-Least, that’s what Osyth told you when you awoke. You were sad when they never came back, but he reassured you, always taking care of you.
But letting you go? After you saved his life? After all those nights staring at the stars— into your eyes? After that kiss you both shared—
No way.
See, what he really told them was basically to never come back or be shot down by his now much bigger and much stronger military. He couldn’t have them coming back when he planned on making you his empress now could he? When you awoke, he immediately proposed, babbling on about how your crew unfortunately had to leave without you, and of course you believed him.. he was so sweet. So you both got married!
it’s now been two years after all that, Osyths rule over his whole planet is peaceful— the total opposite from his fathers. And.. along with that, came a beautiful pregnancy. You’re about 5 months in, waddling around the huge palace while the twin moons shine throw the ornate windows, until you hear something— a ship overhead, and you quickly race outside to see what’s happening.. only to find Osyth, your husband standing defensively on the last couple bottom steps of the palace, shouting at.. one of your crew mates, they looked a little different, but still recognizable.
“what did I tell you? I told you to never come back, you underestimate me?”
you stand there confused, behind your former colleague was one of earths motherships, why did they come back? Because they need you. There’s a war between Earth and another alien planet, they didn’t know where less to go to, but of course you didn’t know that yet.
