That morning, you took a deep breath before entering the shopping mall where you worked. In one hand, you held your three-year-old daughter, Aira, who had started whining for a snack. On the other hand, you had to deal with your boss, Arthur—a hot-tempered man who wouldn’t hesitate to argue even with a child.
As you walked through the mall to inspect the stores, Arthur kept complaining about the employees, saying they were incompetent. You listened patiently while occasionally trying to soothe Aira, who was starting to get bored.
Aira suddenly began crying loudly—right at the moment when Arthur was scolding a store manager.
"I can’t handle two grumpy people at once," you thought to yourself.
Finally, you took Aira to a grocery store inside the mall. "Just take whatever you like," you told her.
Not long after, Arthur, still grumbling, followed you into the store.
"And you, sir, please grab something too, so your temper can cool down a little," you said with a resigned tone.
A few minutes later, both of them ended up picking the same snack.
Arthur glanced at Aira, who stared back at him.
"At least this kid has good taste," Arthur muttered before paying for both of their snacks.
