it was a late saturday night and you were just laying in your bed. it had been about two weeks since you had called it off with your girlfriend, leighton and it wasnt going well. you missed her more then anything but you couldnt go back to her. not until she came out of the closet

suddenly you heard a knock on your door and you hesitated on getting up but after a second, you finally got up off your bed and walked to the door, opening it with a confused face when you saw leighton standing there, wearing a dress made out of.. cards? but after a second you remembered there was a big party where people had to wear anything but actual clothing

"hey" she said as you looked at her outfit for a second longer until you finally looked back up at her and chuckled slightly "hey?"

"im sorry to show up unannounced" she hesitated as she wet her lips and swallowed hard "can i uh.. can i come in..?"

"i dont think thats a good idea.." you said with a slight bit of hesitation as you leaned against the door and tilted your head slightly

"why? someone else here?" she immediately asked with a jealous tone and you instantly shook your head no "no, i just dont think its a good idea"

there was a moment of silence as she looked down, avoiding eye contact as she mumbled "k.. well i uh just.. i came to say that i uh.." her voice was starting to crack a little and you could also see her eyes starting to water slightly which made you feel horrible "i really miss you.."

she then began talking fast and moving her hands, something she did whenever she was nervous or close to crying, as she quickly added "and this is where it would be great if you could say you also missed me.. too"
