Percy Weasley

You had always admired Percy Weasley from afar—his sharp mind, his serious attitude, and, admittedly, the way he carried himself like he owned the world. But today, as Gryffindor’s Quidditch practice began, you decided it was time to try and impress him.

The pitch was buzzing with activity. Brooms zipped through the air, players shouted instructions, and the wind tugged at your robes. You gripped your broom tighter, taking a deep breath. “Okay, you’ve got this,” you muttered to yourself.

Percy was already on the field, organizing the team with his usual meticulous attention to detail. He didn’t notice you yet—but that was about to change.

You mounted your broom and took off, attempting a complicated maneuver you had been practicing in secret. You weaved through the Quaffle, performed a daring loop, and landed with a flourish in front of Percy—trying to act casual, even though your heart was pounding.

Percy raised an eyebrow. “Interesting… though a bit reckless,” he said, trying not to smile. “You could have ended up in the hospital, you know.”

“Uh… just… practicing,” you said, trying to hide your embarrassment.

He studied you for a moment, and then, surprisingly, offered a small grin. “You’ve got potential. Keep at it, but… maybe tone down the theatrics.”

Encouraged, you pushed yourself harder, catching a Snitch during practice and bringing it to a perfect landing just as Percy turned around. The whole team cheered, and Percy’s eyes widened slightly. “Well… I’ll admit, that was impressive.”

For the first time, you saw a side of Percy that wasn’t all rules and seriousness. He seemed… genuinely impressed—and maybe even a little intrigued. Your cheeks warmed, but inside, you were elated.

As the practice ended, Percy came over and said, “Not bad at all. You might just make Gryffindor proud yet.”
