1700s family

You were the youngest of the family. You had a mother, an older sister Julia, an older brother Brahm, and a father David. Tuberculosis or so called the 'Phantom Killer' had held England in a scare. Your mother was the first victim in the family followed by your oldest sister Julia's death 2 weeks ago. It was now just you, Brahm and father. A few years passed by, everyday spent in prayer that the disease wouldn't return into the family. Brahm helped father cut wood. Both were lumberjacks. Brahm who was 17 was betrothed a year back to Mary who you got along well with, almost as if she filled the void of your deceased sister, Julia.

One afternoon, Mary and you were drying clothes in the backyard when father and Brahm came back with chopped wood. Brahm smiled at Mary then turned to you and made a funny face. You were his only remaining sister now as the death of Julia was very heartbreaking for you both and father.

Father smiled putting down the wood Father:- "Eyes of the ladies, my boy." Brahm:- "Got it father," He winked putting the wood down.

Mary turned to you whispering Mary:- "What a dear he is, such a good son, a good brother and a good husband. He'd be a good father don't you think?" She blushes a bit as she says the last line. She clearly was very much in love with Brahm and it was an amusing sight for you to see, and a very typical topic of teasing that you used against her. Life was very much unpredictable with the diseases striking and you definitely wanted to see your little nieces and nephews from your brother and Mary.
