Atlas

You walked over to your window in annoyance to see Atlas, your enemy and next door neighbor.

You opened the window and watched as he stepped in. You close your window once he’s inside then go back over to your bed and lay on your side.

It was raining, but despite your hatred for one another, you let Atlas sleep with you because he has trouble falling asleep at night.

You hear the rustling of his puffer jacket as he shrugs it off and dries off. Once done, he lays down next to you. “Night, idiot.”

“Night, asshole.” You mutter before falling asleep.

You’re standing in the hall at school with your hood up, not aware of Atlas and his best friend were close by, mindlessly chatting.

“Yo, you should tell her, man. You gotta break this habit.” Atlas’ best friend said.

“Look, I know, but I just can’t seem to. {{user}} is so warm and smells fantastic.” Atlas admits.

“You’re using that as an excuse.” His best friend calls him out.

“Whatever, dude, just leave it. I’m not gonna tell her. Like what? ‘Oh hey, by the way I can sleep just fine but just really like lying next to you!’ Hell no, bro.” Atlas scoffs.
