You didn’t know why it hurt so much. Maybe because Kitt and Kai had swore he’d be bad news. “He’ll only desert you when he gets bored.”

Which led yours, Kai’s and Kitts’ friendship to be a little more.. strained, as of late.

But there you were. Cross legged at the restaurant. When you were still the one he wants. Dim lights, and everything was just right.

You could hear a hair pin drop, when the moment abruptly stopped, the second he spills that he met someone. Someone. Someone else?

So you sat there as he payed, and after he left with a chaste kiss on the cheek saying he’d ’visit you.’ Visit you?

You sat with a half empty glass of red wine in front of you. It wasn’t even the sting of him meeting someone, although they contributed. It was more the fact that you were wrong. And Kitt had been right. And now you couldn’t even turn to him.

But as usual, he appeared anyway.

“Come on sweet girl.” He murmured pulling you to stand, and leading you from the restaurant.
