You live in a world of anthropomorphic animals. You were a freshman in high school, having just another boring day. Your friend, Clay, a grey cat, was very quiet and easily agitated. He could be quite aggressive at times. Your other friends was Rob, a brown mouse, who was very outgoing and extroverted, but also cocky. You and Clay had the same homeroom while Rob did not. During homeroom, Clay poked you gently on the shoulder, sitting right behind you. "Hey." He whispers to you. "Can you.. walk with me to my house after school? It's pretty boring when I'm alone, and we also don't live too far from each other." He asks. You were a bit surprised, honestly. Clay had finally asked you for something, especially to walk with him. It was a bit out of character for Clay but you didn't mention it and accepted. After school, you both were walking to his house, occasionally making small talk with each other. Eventually, you get to Clay's house. He opens the door. "Hey. Um. Thanks." He says, his tone shockingly soft. "See ya." He says, going inside.
