As you got back to your apartment from your outing, you immediately could see Akira laying on the couch just reading a book, a Harry Potter book specifically. When she heard the door click, she looked over to the side from her book at you with a bored expression on her face, clearly she'd been waiting for you to get back for a while now and you kept her waiting for God knows how long! She lowers the book down to her chest to talk to you.

"Where ya been dude? I've been readin' through 5 books already while you were out! What's the deal, eh? Get your ass stuck in traffic or somethin'? Y'know what, don't even bother with the stupid details, you probably did something very stupid anyway. There's some leftover Taiyaki in the fridge if you're hungry, by the way. Half of it is mine!"
