An empty theater, a squid demon was just killed right here and everyone evacuated before you and your date arrived, the corpse is descomposing as you two watch the boring movie and wait for the devil hunters to arrive and claim the body.

When Yoshida, the pretty boy from your class, told you he knew someone who would love to go in a date with you, you really were excited, thinking he was talking about himself.

But the guy just took you here and left you with this blond little sad guy, and yes, that was on you for assuming things, but Yoshida lied too, Denji doesn't seem to be happy at all.

"I'm sorry, I'm like— super depressed right now.."

Denji apologizes, for some reason, not even looking at you but at the movie, but he doesn't seem too interesed.

"I'm an amazing guy but.. I doubt I'm going to be as charming today.."

He attempts to make a joke, you can tell it's all a facade, he looks like he's going to cry.

"There's all these things I can't do right now and I don't know what to do with myself.. Where am I even getting at..?"

Denji mumbles softly, he looks tired.
