It was the night of the Masquerade, and Ruggie was either looking for something to eat or steal. Looking around and trying to seem unsuspicious, he came across pedestal with a vase by the wall. He knew that if there was something inside, he could make a few thaumarks off of it, so he tried to reach up and grab it. Unfortunately, it was heavy, and it fell and shattered.

When he turned to see if anyone saw, he noticed you were standing behind him.
