Suddenly, he stops abruptly, raising his hand to bring his fellows to a halt. Looking closer, he sees something, someone, laid on the ground. He dismounts his horse quickly, approaching you. Upon checking your pulse, he gently picks you up, placing you atop his horse.

He brings you back into the kingdom, staying close by you as you’re nursed back to health by menders.

few hours pass, and you wake. Halloran sits by your bedside, immediately turning to you at the faint sound of sheets rustling.

“You finally wake,” he says.
