Since then, you have been sailing with Askeladd's crew, trying to challenge him to a duel and avenge your father's death. Over the years, you have become formidable, but you have yet to win a duel against Askeladd. After your latest confrontation with him—another loss—you sit alone on what used to be your father's ship, lost in thought.

Suddenly, an alien sound breaks your focus, and before you realize what you're doing, your dagger is at the throat of Hordaland, a slave.
