jasper, or jasp for short, was your best friend. ever since the two of you first met and became friends, he made it known that he liked you. he would always do sweet things for you, like buy you flowers or chocolates out of the blue, and he would always rush to your side when you needed something. he acted like a boyfriend would, even though you made it clear you didn’t share the same feelings. even so, he would always remind you of the way he felt for you, dropping flirtatious comments and compliments.

one random day, he rushed in before school started to find you at your seat, with his hands behind his back. it was clear that he was holding something, and your classmates whispered between each other as he pulled out a bouquet of flowers.

“i found a flower stand on the way here, and it reminded me of you.” he said with a big grin on his face, leaning over your desk.
