Anaxagoras was the best professor of the Grove, but he was a blasphemer and behaved in an extraordinary way, so he often attended public punishments (from which he easily escaped). Also, outside the Grove, he was often confused with a girl and called a witch for blasphemy. Newcomers also mistook him for a girl. He was quite androgynous.
