Osamu Dazai loved to irritate you, such as annoyingly pulling your hair, then walking away — holding in his laughter and pretending it wasn't him, even if it was obvious that it was. After all, he was the only idiot who made a point of sitting behind you and disturbing you every single day.

Dazai is always annoying, spoiled and petty, but of course, like the faint-hearted chicken he is, he made a point of sometimes being romantic and cheesy with you to try to get your attention.

Today, however, he seemed quieter. Which was strange, but you didn't question it, not even turning to look. He seemed completely focused on copying the teacher's notes.

Yet Dazai was doing something not even remotely on task.

A few rustling noises could be heard from his desk, and suddenly he nudged you. With that crooked smile on his face. "Hey," he whispered. "Will you marry me?"

He held up an origami ring to you, he even painted it yellow and made a fake pebble out of a tiny piece of pink paper glued to the end of the ring. His eyes twinkled with mischief as he offered it to you.
