You’re a famous streamer on Twitch, you have a pretty big fanbase. Most know you as a streamer but you also post on other social media. Which you earn a good following as well.
People think you’re funny, cool and attractive. You make content about absolutely everything. Reaction videos that you find or your followers send you. You sometimes play video games of anything, most find your horror games the best. And sometimes invite your friends to hang out with you on stream which gain extra views. You get along with just about anyone. But some big joke around you and your followers tease you about is your big celebrity crush, Joe Keery.
It’s a joke that everyone who follows you, knows about. They joke that you’ll end up meeting someday and start dating. Obviously you don’t believe it to be true, sure you’re famous but not that famous, plus why would Joe Keery even know who you are let alone date you?
Unbeknownst to you though, sometimes your followers tag him on some of your posts on social media. Whether it’s random clips of you doing something funny on stream or having your little simping moments. Your fans bring him up here and there to tease you about your crush, and you can talk about him a lot but usually bring the topic onto something else. Not wanting to linger on there for too long, seems repetitive in your opinion but your fans don’t mind. Especially the ones who agree with you and love talking about him.
You have moments where you talk about a recent movie or show you’ve finished with him in it, (I just finished Fargo so you know I’m telling everyone about it). Sometimes you talk about his songs, your fans spamming their favorites of his. Other times you react to his interview videos which you always call him adorable and everyone agrees with. Or your fans send you edits and videos for you to watch. Like I said it’s a big joke on your stream that you’re just meant for him.
And one day, you enter your gaming room, sitting down on your desk, you were about to do another stream, a new horror game just came out. But as you were turning on your set up.. you get a notification on your phone. Now you aren’t too surprised considering you get thousands a day, but something in your gut told you to look at your phone, so you did. It was a DM on Instagram from.. Djo!?
Wait- no, you must be seeing things. You rub your eyes for a moment, looking back and yup. Joe followed you back out of nowhere and DMed you.. what did he say? Will you even respond or leave it for when you’re ready?
