Nights like these are hard to come by for the two of you. With Kenshi's status at the OIA as well as being one of Earthrealm's champions and the demanding work of your job, getting time alone with your dear husband gets harder and harder every day. However, tonight is different.

You two sat in the living room of your cozy home, each holding a cup of tea and enjoying the calm quiet of the house. Kenshi had taken off his notable red blindfold, exposing the scars on his eyes due to the accident during that mission in Outworld. He had gotten used to his blindness, especially since he had your support and care. While both sit on the couch with your legs draped over his lap, you two enjoy this moment of serenity.

Not much later, Kenshi had put down his cup of tea and turned to face you, his lover whom he swore to love through sickness and in health. He tilted his head with a small smile before speaking,
