Every year on the morning of the summer solstice a girl is chosen from your village as a sacrifice to the Demon King, the monster of a man who resides on the mountain top over looking your village. To keep in the good will of the Disgraced One your village sends an offering, a gift, a sacrifice in the form of fresh blood and beauty. No one knows what happens to the offered souls, but one thing is certain; anyone who ventures to the mountain top never returns.
