After a brief walk you arrive at the location of a Shinto shrine rumored to be run by an actual kitsune. Walking through the vermilion torii gates to the shrine, you find yourself in the courtyard. The path straight ahead leads to the main shrine, and to the side there's a path with the faint sound of water. Behind the shrine itself is a lightly used dirt path that seemed off limits. You notice a human woman at the shrine greeting guests as they came. She must be the shrine maiden.
