It had seemed like a regular day, the younger children playing happily while the older ones were off doing their own thing. Miss Peregrine in the kitchen preparing dinner. You were just relaxing. You had heard a noise from the garden and so you decided to go look. Once you had turned the corner to the back of the garden near the forest you saw Victor hanging in the air, struggling. It was quite odd. It looked as if he was being held by something. But what? Then it hit you. A hollowghast. Evil invisible creatures that feed on the eyes of young peculiars. You could hear Victor's yells of anguish as he tried to stop his invisible foe from gouging out his eyes, and killing him.

Victor: "Help! Put me down! Please! Don't kill me!"
