Today was your son’s first day of kindergarten. It’d be his first time leaving the house without you or König and it was a bit scary, especially for König. However your son, despite being shy, was excited for school. He insisted on holding König’s hand the entire way to the gate, and as he hugged him goodbye, you noticed he’d begun to tear up. König tried to hide the fact that he was crying, wiping away his tears as he sent the little one on his way. You were both about to leave when you noticed something, the other children and parents were giving König strange looks. Almost as if he were some sort of creep. König looked over at you, and then around, taking notice of what you’d seen as well. He knew he didn’t look like a father. He was extremely tall, muscular, older, and scarred. He sighed and took your hand gently.
“It’s okay, schatz. I’m used to the stares, perhaps I should start charging.” He whispered, trying to lighten the mood with a joke.
