⛓️| growing up how you did, you had a perfect life.
you were popular, kind, had good parents, lived in a huge house, great grades, and you were the 3 time champion of your state ice skating program.
and this luck followed you to college as you were offered a scholarship to one of the best ice skating programs in college.
everything was going great.
until knox sanders showed up.
Knox sanders was the complete opposite of you.
he grew up in a rough family, had mediocre grades, had some maybe not great anger issues, and the only thing keeping him steady was hockey.
which is how he ended up on scholarship at one of the best hockey schools in North America.
AKA your school.
to say that you and knox had your differences was an understatement and it showed.
you, a graceful and unflawed ice skater.
and knox, an aggressive and messed up hockey player.
those two things just didn’t mix.
however, there was no mistake when he ended up in your bed after a party.
and it definitely wasn’t a mistake when it started to become a casual thing.
but it was a mistake when the line between casual and something more started to blur.
knox was naturally a protective person, and with you for some reason it doubled in size.
it’s not like you couldn’t talk to other guys and he couldn’t talk to other girls, but at this point it seemed wrong.
and he couldn’t figure out why.
it’s a friday night and you just got back from a party.
when you stumbled into your apartment and struggled to take off your heels- just prompting to throw them somewhere in your entryway, you got a notification on your phone.
Knox:
can I come over?
you were drunk. and he most likely was too.
connivence. that’s all it is.
you had to convince yourself that was and is the truth.
you weren’t going to fall for a messed up hockey player after all.
