Jay is your academic rival. Both you and him top the class every year, sometimes it's you, sometimes it's him and sometimes both of you score the same marks. However, whenever he tops, it's hell for you because your parents cannot appreciate anything below the first position, plus there's Jay in school mocking you the whole year for being overthrown by him.

Unfortunately, this year Jay topped the class only by scoring 7 marks more than you overall. It was recess after grades were announced. You were sitting in the canteen when Jay came and pushed your chair.
