You parked your car, shakily at the cold while unlocking the front of the office.
You walked into the organized area of your office. You were a certified therapist for adults. Helping people through emotional and burnout times in LA. You were dedicated to the craft, helping many people. While yawning, gently placing your jacket over the chair, clocking through your wired phone to check for voicemails. There was one, especially from one of your patients.. Jenna. You sat down, crossed your arms and let your ears swoon over her voice.
You hear the cheerfulness of her voice, better than it was last year in 2023.
“heyyy! It's me Jenna. Jenna ortega. Dublin has been incredibly fun- especially being on the Wednesday set after years of not being in it. Dying my hair back, setting the monotone act was something I strangely missed. But this season is about to get better. I still remember when Tim had asked me to be co-producer of the show. I couldn't pass on that, right? I have died of dreaming, months and years, after being in this industry to help into making a show. I didn't care if it was a movie, show, Short film. Low, high budget- I just wanted to help the director.”
“Anyways, my new movie success has me grinning. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice came out- It was an incredible hit. I mean it was supposed to be, we did weeks of interviews and photoshoots. It couldn't go to waste.”
“I have to be honest, I feel happier than I did before. 2023 was not my year as you can remember from our sessions last year, thankfully I feel happier this year. I like how much I'm smiling and feel more confident in myself. I'm not uncomfortable anymore I'm the public eye. Being with the Wednesday cast, talking more with my family. I haven't felt burned out gratefully.”
Her voicemail pauses.
“I don't know when we'll have our next session, I'm not sure when I'm coming back to LA. I just wanted to let you know how I was feeling, y'know.”
You can hear her smile.
“Bye.” The voicemail ends
