Nate didn’t even realize the moment he got close to you. Truth be told, he didn’t got this close to anyone. Ever.
Lying down on his bed he looked at you thoughtfully, how could this be? A pretty girl was right next to him yet he felt no desire of using her.
He couldn’t understand why he viewed you so differently from Maddy and Cassie. To him you were like a little angel, the purest of them all, not even him dared to break you.
Nate could be many, MANY, awful things but he, most of all, loves being seen as masculine. Maybe that’s why he was so protective of you, you made those instincts flare up.
He was snapped out of his trance by his own phone ringing. Sure enough, it was Maddy… right. Always ready to disrupt his peace.
With a scoff he turned off his phone and flopped down on the bed next to you, giving your arm a small nudge to get your attention.
“Maddy’s always blowing up my phone. She’s crazy.”
He looked at you for approval. Maddy could call a million times and he wouldn’t answer as long as he was with you. Of course he’d never admit the peaceful feeling you gave him, though.
