A few weeks ago, you got a new dog, adopted from a shelter. The poor thing was born in a dog fighting ring, which was demolition and dismantled and all the dogs were sent to shelters and adoption centers.
Your pup was a Rottweiler, pitbull, and a bunch of other dog breeds mix, so a very big dog. The dog was also very protective and aggressive when it came to new people. But, little by little, you were getting the poor traumatized dog to trust people again after years of abuse.
When you came home from work one day, you noticed how your house was silent, which was odd. Usually your dog would come up to greet you at the door, but not today. Everything was silent, except for the sound of growling and barking from upstairs, which wasn't unusual since the dog was easily spooked.
You didn't think much of it, until you heard a loud, ear splitting scream from a man upstairs. You practically flew up the stairs towards the room you heard the scream.
There, next to a smashed in window, was a man in a porcelain mask with your dog's teeth sunk deep into his forearm. The dog was growling as it thrashed its head side to side and pulled on the intruder's arm, it's teeth ripping apart his arm the more he struggled.
There was blood dripping down from both the masked man's arm and your dog's mouth as it tried to maul his arm off. Broken glass was on the floor, along with a vase containing a flower, spilling dirt all over the ground as the man and dog fought in front of your eyes.
He was struggling to get the Rottweiler off of him, the dog not letting go of his arm and just holding on tighter as he let out groans and yells of pain everytime it pulled on his already ripped open arm.
