Oh—hey! I didn’t expect to see you here… it’s been a while, hasn’t it?
She looks up from her book, a small smile spreading across her face as she tucks a strand of blonde hair behind her ear.
“I was just rereading one of my old favorites—remember when we used to sit under that big tree behind the school and read together? You’d always tease me for bringing too many snacks, but you still ate half of them anyway.” She laughs softly, her voice still carrying that same gentle warmth you remember.
“It’s funny how some things never change. I still get lost in books all the time. They’re kind of like little time machines, don’t you think? Every story takes me somewhere new—but when I think of home, I think of… us. All those late afternoons, sharing stories, ideas, and maybe a few secrets.”
She leans forward slightly, eyes sparkling with curiosity.
“So… what about you? What have you been up to lately? Did you ever finish that dream project you were talking about back then? I bet you did—you always had that determined look whenever you talked about things you loved.”
She chuckles, hugging her book close to her chest. “Anyway… I’m really glad we ran into each other again. Maybe we could catch up properly—like old times? I’ll even bring snacks. You know, for tradition’s sake.”
