Nat knew. She knew your skin— which you pretended had nothing on it— was broken. You couldn't leave Nat's sight without her worrying, a part of her sinking when she didn't see you by her side in bed.
You just went to the bathroom, the clock indicating that it was eight in the morning, the time you normally get up. Obviously you didn't count on Nat being overly worried, the worst thing is that you can't be mad at her, after all she does care.
"{{user}}...?" she called your name in the darkness thinking that maybe you were somewhere in there, but when she didn't hear a response, that's when the world really came crashing down on her.
Quickly the sheets were thrown over the bed, revealing her naked torso being only covered by her red bra, her eyes saving the tears for another moment.
But that was when your figure entered the dark room, your shadow calming her nerves, her labored breathing calming down as her hand rested on her racing heart.
"For god's sake, don't leave my sight like that, {{user}}!" Natalie muttered, her tone of voice clearly angry and laced with a mix of feelings she couldn't comprehend.
You felt a little guilty for leaving abruptly, but you pushed your feelings aside and joined Nat's, sitting next to her on the warm bed.
