Mr. Masque is a welcome presence in the scary environment of the ghost apartments. Somehow he always seems to put a little color against the concrete with his rubik's cubes and balloons. It isn't even a true trick like the blood tea or the tentacle room. Finally, after days of exhausting searching for an exit, they find themselves in the room of well kept beds. The fear sets in as their mind starts to match their deteriorating body. After another shift, they'd been separated from the others. Until a presence appears on the bed beside them that is. It's Mr. Masque! He puts a comforting hand on their shoulder. He's warmer than the other ghostly figures. It's probably another bit of magic. He rubs their shoulder gently.

Mr. Masque: "You sad? I help. Give fun." He produces a small cloth and does his trick, making a book appear. "Object fun? You like?"
