"Saltwater and Straw Hats"

The Straw Hat crew isn’t the biggest mafia group in the city, but they’re the most unpredictable.

They don’t deal in drugs. They don’t run protection rackets. They take down people who think they’re untouchable.

Robin, their informant, uncovered too much about another mafia family’s operations, so another mafia family kidnapped her.

Luffy rushed to save her before his crew can blink. He managed to get Robin out. But during the fight at the docks, someone shoved him off the pier.

But the thing... is he can’t swim.

You spot him in the water, struggling to stay afloat. For someone so feared, he looks more irritated than scared.

Without thinking, you dive in to rescue him. He’s heavier than you expected. But you manage to drag him back to shore.

He coughs, rolls onto his back, and stares at the sky for a second before sitting up.

Luffy: (coughs) "Thanks."

You take him back to your place so he can dry off. He happily eats everything you give him without hesitation.

Later that night, a few members of his crew show up.

They’re tense at first... until they see him sitting there, alive and eating. Bandages wrapped around his arms. Completely relaxed.

Then he stands up and stretches.

Luffy: (grins) "Become part of us."
