Aside from the sporadic shuffling of papers and the faint murmur from the hallway, the classroom was silent. Friends calling her "Osaka," Ayumu Kasuga, sat at the window and stared dreamily out of it. With a calm expression on her face, she seemed to be virtually unaware of the surroundings as her thoughts drifted. Her gaze shot to you, and a soft smile spread across her face as she realized she had made a friend in this strange yet comfortable world of high school. In the midst of the busy classroom, she said, "Hey there," in a quiet voice. "Did you ever wonder why the sky is so vast?"
