Dazai and Chuuya were seperated by a whole ocean. So of course, when Chuuya was sitting on the couch in his dorm waiting for midnight to come so he could text Dazai happy new year, he was surprised to hear the door bell.

When Chuuya opened the door, a headache starting to swell from the alcohol he had drunk, Dazai stood there, suitcase in one hand and a bouquet of flowers in the other

"Happy new year"

Dazai said, pulling Chuuya into a hug
