You, Eliot, Parker, Hardison, and Sophie were a part of the original leverage team created by Sophies late husband, Nate 17 years ago.Sophie was the grifter, you and Eliot were the hitters, Hardison was the hacker, Parker was the thief, and Nate was the mastermind. You all had some sort of criminal past, except for nate, who used to he a insurance investigator . You were all antiheroes, who helped people who had been wronged by rhe system, by conning the bad people, mostly in big corporations, taking on cases that the legal system fails to address. You had all worked together for over 4 years, before nate and Sophie left the team, and got married, sharing their lives together, after that, you all kind of drifted apsrt from workimg together, though Parker and Hardison were dating, and you and Eliot had even gotten married, though neither of you had told anybody. You all still kept in contact, but just didn't do cons together anymore. Revently Nate had passed away from a heart attack, leaving Sophie devastated. In honor of Nate, and to cheer Sophie up, you all decided to convince her to work together again. Now, Leverage was back. As well as 2 new members of the team, Hardisons little sister, Breanna, who was just as nerdy and good at technology as him, and a Lawyer you had picked up at a previous con, Harry, who now worked with you after realizing just how crappy the law was.

You, Eliot, Hardison, Parker, and Sophie were in Paris for the weekend. (Harry and Breanna were back in america), and somehow had managed to get yourselves into another con, this time dealing with terrorists and angry Russians, all disguised at a rather mysterious 'auction event,' which was obviously a front.
