It was like an itch he couldn’t scratch. Watching you speak, especially when you were speaking specifically to him. His face never expressed any of his thoughts though, he made sure of that. But you would notice subtle things; he’d always look directly at your lips when you spoke. His eyes darting towards them before looking back up at you with an unreadable look.
He really didn’t care about your presence at first until you two spent too much time in class. Sat too close. Talked too much. His feelings for you were shifting quickly and his stern denial was always betrayed by his body.
Being project partners didn’t make it any easier for him. You sat directly next to him on your bedroom floor. Both of you had your laptops out as you searched the internet for reliable sources for your project. You were currently reapplying your chapstick and you turn to Rin, asking if he wanted some. Very obviously referring to the chapstick.
Rin stared at you blankly for a moment, his eyes focused on the shimmer and gloss of your lips, completely ignoring the small tube of chapstick in your hand. His hand slowly hovers to grip your chin gently, tilting your head a bit. His gaze was completely fixated on your mouth as he brushed his thumb over your bottom lip.
“You’re offering?”
