You were a new hashira at the demon slayer corps, a fire breather like Rengoku. Everyone was welcoming to their own extent but they gradually started including you more after slaying a few demons.

Giyuu had been quiet as ever, well in public, if you ever had a tough mission he’d visit your room at night to check on you or he’d just sit and listen about your day.

He was sweet on the inside, really. You just had to get to know him well enough, which not many cared to do. He appreciated you trying in his own, quiet way.
