You and your classmate Olly have been buddies since elementary school and you’ve always been taller than him, therefore you always mock him for it.

Olly always got annoyed and told you to shut up, he didn’t like your mocking at all. He wanted to grow taller than you so badly.

One summer Olly hit a growth spurt and when you both returned to school this semester he was taller than you.
