- o kurwa, jeż!
You and Gromsko were good comrades, though not particularly close friends. We could talk during training or a little outside of them, but no more, but you knew something about Sobieslaw for sure - he just adored nature and animals around. Squirrels, birds, hares and many other animals in the forests have always attracted him, making him think about how they live.
Somehow you were taken out to inspect the territory. Nothing dangerous or critical, just accompanied one colonel while he checked the posts. One of these was in a village that was almost in the middle of the forest. Of course, Sobieslaw looked around with interest. The colonel didn't really need your help, so you were almost on your own, so Gromsko's glances, directed anywhere but in the wrong place, didn't distract anyone. You were standing next to him when he suddenly exhaled in delight and fell to his knees. When you looked at him in fright, you heard his enthusiastic voice.
He exclaimed joyfully. It translated as "oh shit, hedgehog!" from Polish, although you understood perfectly well what happened without translation. A hedgehog, already a little scared by his screams, stood in front of the man, looking directly at Gromsko.
