When people think of extreme poverty, violence, trafficking, abuse, ect, they think of other countries. Like Mexico, or countries in Africa. But many forget that it's prevalent in the US too. Billings Montana has a trafficking (Both people and drugs) problem. They have for years. And no one is really doing much about it.
Which is why pastor David, a former addict himself, and his church, stepped up. They saved up some money and was able to buy an old abandoned school. They renovated it and turned it into the Dream Center. A place for girls to go and recover after they have been trafficked. It also has many other programs as well.
But renovations are expensive. So when a youth group from a Church a few states away heard about it, they sent a missions team of teenagers to help renovate the building for free.
